Here is a short recap of what we discussed last time: our payment and dispute solution system using a smart contract by the Masterkey protocol. Today, we will be discussing one of the other solutions: a Property Mortgage service

Masterkey platform users not only can enjoy housing services with MKY tokens, but also various kinds of sharing economy services like real-estate services depending on the circumstances.

Let us get into today’s topic using Q&As: Masterkey’s property mortgage service.

Q. Can Masterkey platform users join the property platform?

A. Yes, it can be done through a simple process. Once the operators in the Masterkey’s property platform select houses or buildings that they believe worth investing in, they will share them with the community. Then, the users can look through those properties presented to decide whether or not they would join the service.

Q. Any additional conditions for joining the service?

A. When users join the platform, they will be obligated to stake for some time being under the additional condition; once fulfilling the time, interest will be paid.

Q. what kind of roles would Masterkey platform’s property operators play?

A. The operators will be in charge of running every service including conducting a due diligence, assessment, or profit sharing of the property on sale for investment. Then, they will determine the one that has the most price competitiveness and potential in the future will be presented on the Masterkey’s landing platform along with its expected return estimation through a series of property price assessments and lease business.

Q. Any representative partnerships for offering better services?

A. Masterkey is partnering with property agencies, consulting firms, concierge service providers and the like primarily to focus on providing better services. Some of our partners are Bnbprofits, Conclave Collection, and AZUL as well as Knight Frank Korea which specializes on managing a global network and know-hows on property management to heighten accessibility to high quality property information and insights on its market.

Q. Who determines one’s mortgage status on the Masterkey’s property loan products?

A. It will be determined by the Masterkey’s loan organization within the platform based on the property’s price assessment, payable interest, and due diligence for a final decision.

Q. Will the value of the property for mortgage be assessed regularly?

A. Yes, property will be assessed on a yearly basis. If the value changes, it will be notified on the platform allowing users to decide whether they would un-stake or maintain staking. If choosing the latter, the value of the property will be reassessed.

Q. How would the process be if users choose for un-staking after the re-assessment?

A. Refinancing of the property will be preceded through our loan platform if any users wish to go ahead with un-staking of the reassessed property. Existing users will be given with the MKY tokens they once have staked.
